I study for the panel "The First Mass in Brazil", a work commissioned by Thomaz Saavedra, then president of Banco Boavista, to decorate the bank's headquarters, a project by the architect Oscar Niemeyer, Rio de Janeiro. Cataloged in the Portinari Project under the FCO record: 404 Cr: 2658. reproduced in the artist's Raisonné, vol.ii on p.218. Certificate of Authenticity of Projeto Portinari nº 1300.
